A trader has reportedly knifed to death his friend on Wednesday in Tonj East morning for unknown reason.
According to eye witness Sultan Adam Ismail Yahiya, Chief of Durfuran community says the case between the late and the accused murderer is not known to him, Radio Don Bosco Reports.
The accused person is in critical condition after injuring himself with the same knife, says the eye witness. He was under treatment at Tonj Civil Hospital, Adam adds.
He says the late and the suspect were good friends for long period of time.
Police Acting Director, Joseph Mayei Aru, pledges commitment to investigate the matter.
He appeals to the guardian of the late to remain calm and allow the law to take it cost.
The official made the remark on Thursday in an interview with Don Bosco Radio.
