South Sudanese delegates for the High Level Revitalization Forum who gathered at Elily Hotel in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on Sunday, shed tears while praying for peace in the country.

Others cried loudly, some in low voices while some cried silently with their tears running down their cheeks.

They began crying after Sarah Nyanath Elijah started prayer of the faithful with tears.

Emeritus Bishop of ECSS Rejaf Diocese, Enock Tombe encourages South Sudanese to continue crying to realize lasting peace in the nation.

He reminds people about Prophet Nehemiah in the Bible, who fasted and cried when his country was destroyed.

Bishop Tombe asks God to forgive all the people of South Sudan for failing to maintain peace and spoiling their reputation in the world.

The prayer that brought many participants together was under the theme: ‘There is deliverance in the Mighty name of God’.
