Care International distributes agricultural tools to farmers in Torit

More than (30) individual farmers in Torit town of Imotong state have received farming tools from Care International aiming at boosting the food production in the area.
 
Oromo Moses is the deputy chairperson of peace farm group from Ilangi community in Torit. He says with the tools and seeds given they are ready to carry out a demonstration farm land. Emmanuel Radio reports.
 
Moses adds that the skills they will learn from the demonstration field will skill them with better farming methods they will practice in their own gardens.
 
Jacqueline Ohisik Charles is another beneficiary. She says they are ready to fight hunger in the state.
 
Ohisik further urges other humanitarian NGOs to teach communities how to produce their own food other than providing ready food that she says promotes laziness.
 
Jennifer Alemon is a beneficiary from Good News Farm Group. She expresses her happiness by receiving new farming tool which will help her produce more food.
