Officials at the South Sudan’s National Examination Secretariat say they have allocated two centers for IDPs candidates to sit outside the camps.
Speaking to journalists on Thursday in Juba, Mading Manyok the Secretary General for national exams says the Ministry has identified over one thousand IDPs candidates this year.
He says the IDP candidates who were registered are expected to sit for their exams in the centres allocated for them in Juba and Rubkona.
He says there were no other candidates registered from the other POCs across the country.
Deng Deng Hoc, Minister of General Education confirms eight states; including Fashoda, Latjor, Maiwut, Fangak and Akobo will not sit for the coming exams because they do not have eligible candidates.
He says the ministry has distributed the examinations to the states and counties and they are ready to begin their exams on February, 12.
He wishes all candidates good luck in their exams.
