Bishop Anbaa Elia says the purpose is to oversee the projects Orthodox Church is implementing in Juba and Wau following the crisis, Radio Voice of Hope reports.

It is very important for church leaders to visit their faithful when they are in bad situation, he adds.

Bishop Elia mentions that in war times, people do not benefit instead they lose everything they have.

He notes that people and their leaders should resolve their problems through wisdom.

The Bishop asks the leaders to work for stability to deliver services to their people and avoid more conflict.

Orthodox Church is praying for South Sudan to have peace so that people go back to their homes and send their children to schools, he discloses.
