South Sudan’s peace needs an internal solution to resolve internal problems, says the Governor of Imotong State.

Tobiolo Alberio Oromo believes South Sudanese are more aware of their problem than the international community, Radio Emmanuel reports.

Citizens have a great role to play within their communities and ensure the whole country is at peace, he notes.

The Imotong governor admits politicians are to be blamed for the ongoing rebellions in the country.

Alberio appreciates opposition fighters who accepted to lay down their guns and seek peaceful means of resolving their grievances.

Twenty opposition fighters have surrendered their guns to the state government last week in Torit.
