The Commissioner of Pageri County in Imotong State calls for quick implementation of the presidential order that cattle herders should move to their states.

The existence of cattle in Pageri creates heavy destruction to farms, says Emilio Igga.

Igga adds that herders in the area refuse to relocate their cattle to their original states, denying access to cultivation, Emmanuel Radio reports.

He says quick implementation of the order encourages farmers to fully engage in agricultural production to reduce hunger and over dependency.

The Commissioner warns that continues presence of cattle in the area will increase hunger.

Igga calls on the army to move cattle keepers by force.

He believes use of force is the only solution to relocate them to their original home state.

Igga worries that the presence of herders in the area will not only result to hunger, but also insecurity.

Commissioner Emilio Igga was talking to Radio Emmanuel in a telephone interview in Pageri on Thursday.
