Malaria is a leading disease among the internally displaced people, sheltering in the Parish Compound, says a religious Sister of Solidarity Missionaries at Our Lady of Assumption Riimenze Parish.
Sister Marine, senior medical personnel supporting the IDPs says the displaced people need treatment especially the children, Radio Anisa reports.
She says most of the children in the camp are moving without clothes, with wounds on their bodies due to lack of proper care from the parents.
The Religious Sister was talking in an interview with Anisa Radio.
