Global Aim, a Non Governmental Organization, is delivering supplementary food to breastfeeding mothers and malnourished children.
Susan Ihure Elia, Assistant Administrator for Global Aim, says the food items will help breastfeeding mothers to produce enough milk for their children, Emmanuel Radio reports.
The initiative will help reduce malnutrition among children, she adds.
Ihure advises the mothers to make proper use of the items.
Every child registered in the program will receive 75 sachets of plumy nuts.
The official spoke to Radio Emmanuel on Tuesday in Torit town.
