A priest in the Catholic Diocese of Yei discloses that the people of South Sudan are fighting because they want everything for themselves and their own interests.
Fr Alex Lodiong Sakor says they want to listen to themselves rather than to the word of God, Radio Easter reports.
Others thought that they are the only privileged people to obtain what the country has for its entire people, he observes.
The Lord will remain with his people though there are a number of difficulties and trials, Fr Lodiong says.
He adds that even those who went to refugee camps are still worshiping the God.
The priest made the remarks at Christ the King Cathedral on Sunday in Yei.
