The Ministry of Gender And Social Development in Tonj State is ready to implement the plan of rehabilitating street children centre which failed last year.
Mabil Ater told Radio Don Bosco on Saturday that lack of support from the partners resulted into failure of construction.
He adds that seeing children in the streets is damaging the image of the state.
The minister says they are waiting for support from donors after the ministry submitted it proposals.
Ater appeals to the public to take care of children by providing basic services.
He says responsibility of children is the collective work of all people and the ministry.
The minister made the remarks on Saturday in Tonj.
