The Yei River County Referendum Subcommittee urged boda boda riders to register in order to vote in January 09, 2011 plebiscite.
Fr. Simon Khamis Mabe, the Public Outreach Programme Manager for the Referendum Subcommittee, told Radio Easter this morning that boda boda drivers should register and vote for a country where they can ride freely.Fr. Khamisa added that the motorcycle-taxi riders cannot carry their business in a country where there are no good roads.
The Catholic Radio Network (CRN) is a media project constituted by community-based radio stations broadcasting in Frequency Modulation from Juba, Yei, Torit, Yambio, Rumbek, Tonj, Wau, and Malakal. For its outreach, CRN has a potential audience of about seven million people, considering the influx of returnees to South Sudan after the Sudan Population Census 2008.
