Festive seasons should be days for thanksgiving by all citizens despite the economic crisis in South Sudan, says Parish Priest of St Peter and Paul Cathedral of the Catholic Diocese of Torit.
Fr Jackino Lomogo says people have to thank God for keeping them alive up to this time, Radio Emmanuel reports.
He advises South Sudanese to put God first above all things happening in the country.
Turn away from bad deeds and be good citizens to celebrate the big days together as brothers and sisters, Fr Lomogo appeals to everybody.
The priest was preaching at St Peter and Paul Cathedral in Torit during Christmas celebration.
