The Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Yei has protested against those who deliberately shot guns during the Christmas Day in the town.
Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe asks people who were shooting if they want to frighten Christians from celebrating Christmas, Radio Easter reports.
Jesus was not born with gunshots and those who shot the guns are defying the orders of the president on the cessation of hostilities, he points out.
Bishop Lodu stresses that the people holding guns are not listening to God and even to the government.
He blames those who deliberately shoot guns without command.
The Bishop made the remarks on Christmas mass on Monday.
