The Apostolic Administrator of the Catholic Diocese of Torit appeals to Christians to cast out the spirit of war and all kind of violence engulfing South Sudan.
Monsigner Thomas Oliha Attiya observes that the nation is surrounded by darkness of war, tribal hatred and revenge, child abduction and rape, cattle raiding and robberies.
He adds that rampant killings, famine, corruption and lack of development have also been affecting the country.
Monsignor Oliha calls on South Sudanese to say no to all kind of darkness.
He urges every citizen to transform from corruption or darkness to Light of Jesus Christ, the prince of peace.
Monsignor Oliha expresses the need for all South Sudanese to help one another and live in peace.
He wishes everybody to celebrate the Christmas in unity, joy, solidarity, love and peace.
