Establish good governance in South Sudan, Apostolic Administrator of the Catholic Diocese of Torit urges the national government.

Monsignor Thomas Oliha Attiyah describes a good country as that with good governance led by compassionate, merciful and forgiving leaders, Radio Emmanuel reports.

He also urges the government to stabilize the country’s economy and stop corruption that paralyzes South Sudan’s image.

The Catholic prelate implores that tribalism has created a lot of agony to the people of this nation, suggesting a need for immediate intervention.

Monsignor Oliha further calls for the creation of national army because the present one has created massive suffering to citizens.

The Apostolic Administrator was speaking during the meeting of the national dialogue sub-committee with Eastern Equatoria on Wednesday in Torit.
