The Advisor for Peace and Reconciliation in Tombura State is calling for sustainable peace in South Sudan in the New Year.
Speaking to Anisa Radio, Mary Yata says peace must prevail now without preconditions because women have been suffering during the civil war.
She adds that the war has created a lot of suffering on innocent civilians and destabilizing the economy of the country.
Yata calls on the international committee, IGAD to focus on revitalization process so that the peace that South Sudanese are yearning for can succeed.
She urges citizens to embrace peace, love among themselves and live in harmony with one another.
She wishes all South Sudanese Merry Christmas and Happy New year 2018..
