SCBC President calls for prayers to stop revenge killing in South Sudan

The President of the Conference of the Catholic Bishops of South Sudan and Sudan is calling for prayers to convert the hearts of South Sudanese to stop revenge killings and cattle raiding in the country.
 
Radio Anisa quoted Bishop Barani Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala observes that innocent people in Western Lakes States are losing lives whenever there is revenge attack and cattle raid.
 
He reveals that he has seen women, children and elderly people in Rumbek who are the victims of those attacks.
 
Bishop Hiiboro calls on Christians to pray for the people of Rumbek and those suffering in many parts of South Sudan to attain peace.
 
He advises South Sudanese to conduct cross border visit and relationship in order to build friendship among citizens in the country.
 
The Catholic prelate appeals to all South Sudanese special working class not to spend or take much loans just for Christmas celebration and suffer later.
 
The Bishop was speaking upon his arrival in Yambio after ordaining two priests in Rumbek Diocese on Sunday.
