The land survey commission on Monday in Tonj State started identification of plots in the town before surveying the area.
Chairperson of the Commission, Peter Mou Athuai, says the purpose of giving plot numbers is to ease the survey, Radio Don Bosco reports.
Mou tells communities that the identification of plots will allow other people to get residential lands.
He stresses that surveying the land has many processes that will take time to finish.
The official advises plot owners to process their documents to avoid confusion in the future.
Peter Agar Apaac, who owns a land but has been push to new place appreciates the Commission for dividing the land for communities.
The speakers made the remarks on Tuesday.
