Malual Buoth Anyar leads cultural dance competition in Tonj

Malual Buoth Anyar of Northern Bahr El Ghazal won in ‘cultural competition show for peaceful Christmas and coexistence of communities’ in Tonj.
 
Organizing Committee Chairperson, Longar Malual Ayuel announced that the dancing group from Aweil took the lead with 54 points and Bongo with 53 points, Radio Don Bosco reports.
 
TOCH organization in partnership with the State Ministry of Information, Youth, Culture and Sports arranged the dance.
 
Acting Minister of Information, Dominic Deng Mayom, says the competition was for three days.
 
Deng says the same activities are going to take place in former Warrap State and Tonj East to unite communities in the areas.
 
Alfred AthianWol, TOCH Project Officer says the competition aims at bringing peace in the state and South Sudan at large.
 
The event that began on Friday and concluded on Monday attracted all government officials to Tonj Freedom Square.
