The Manager of HIV/AIDS in the Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio expresses serious concern about disease prevalence in Western Equatoria and South Sudan.

Luka Brown tells the government, Church personnel and the community in Manguo Catholic Parish says HIV/AIDS prevalence have reached 6.8 percent in the region alone, Radio Anisa reports.

Brown quoted Catholic Bishop of Tombura-Yambio Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala advising managers to think wise when there is serious crisis on people.

Respond quickly where there is a hunger catastrophe in terms of food and none food items, he adds.

The manager says the Bishop also advises that if there is serious sickness let the managers try all means to make sure the people get treatment.
