Political leaders in the country are the ones dividing the youth on tribal lines, says Minister of Information, Culture, Youth and Sports in Yei River State.
Alfred Kenneth Duku, points out that the politicians use the young people for their personal interests, not people of South Sudan, Radio Easter reports.
He mentions that ‘the people dying a lot in this senseless war are the youth because they are the ones used in the fighting’.
The minister urges the youth not to listen to political leaders, but rather unite to develop South Sudan.
The minister made the remarks at the opening of a one-day youth workshop under the theme: ‘Rebuilding the broken relationship’.
