Women should put education first priority, says activist

The Executive Director of Anika Women Association in Gbudue State urges females who dropped out from school to go back to learn and be serious to achieve better future.
 
Radio Anisa quoted Yabans Emilia Moses saying civil society associations are lobbing with partners on how women can be given a second chance to be in school.
 
She says many young girls have completed senior secondary school, but is difficult to go to higher institutions.
 
Yabans says if women are being empowered in education they will be self-reliance and can also to be strong community leaders in the society.
 
She adds that Anika Women Association is also educating women in small business and microfinance by giving their groups ten thousand South Sudanese Pounds to repay after three months.
 
Yabans calls on citizens to embrace the spirit of unity so that South Sudan can achieve peace in 2018.
