Religious leaders urge young people to be peace promoters

Religious leaders in Yei say youth should promote peace, social cohesion and coexistence in the country.
 
Fr Emmanuel Lodongo Sebit, Secretary-General of the Catholic Diocese of Yei, says young people are the pillars of the nation, Radio Easter reports.
 
Religious leaders gave the mandate to St Augustine Family Organization to arrange all youth groups for a common goal.
 
Pastor Richard Ali of the Episcopal Church mentions that the future of this country depends on the youth.
 
He adds that youth are the people badly affected by the war because they are the ones fighting in bushes.
 
The religious leaders made their remarks at a young people’s meeting to unite all youth groups and associations to coordinate their activities.
