Tambura Police Commissioner confirms that theft cases have reduced in the state in the last few weeks.
Brigadier General Batista Kumbo Samson says since June, the general security of Tambura state is calm, police collaborates with SPLA and other organized forces, Radio Anisa reports.
He mentions that rampant theft in Tambura opened market has now reduced because the team is working very hard to eliminate crimes in the state.
Brigadier Kumbo notes that currently the common recorded crimes are minor cases like family affairs.
He reveals that about five hundred police are undergoing training now to be deployed to some areas without law enforcement officers in Tambura State.
The Commissioner blames people who accuse others to be arrested and stay without opening cases against the victims.
Relationship between security organs and civilians in Tambura state improved because they are cooperating with each other, he reveals.
Brigadier Kumbo also discloses that soon they will introduce community policing in the state.
