Tonj County Legislative Councilors on Wednesday elected Gabriel Majok Manyual as their new speaker and Bona Nduo his deputy.
Don Bosco Radio quoted Severino Philip Bazia, County Commissioner, saying the purpose of electing the new body is to oversee all problems facing the councilors.
He appeals to the community to cooperate with the new leadership to work for peace and unity.
The new speaker urges citizens to cooperate with county authorities to deliver services to the community.
Meanwhile Bona Nduo, the deputy speaker, urges the community to support the working team.
He appeals to the community to raise any problem facing them to the authorities.
