The head of United Nations Mission in South Sudan or UNMISS calls on the national leaders to reconcile for sustainable peace to prevail.
Radio Anisa quoted David Shearer telling Governors in Yambio that personal courage is very important to reconciliation because it paves a way for putting down guns and embracing peace.
It is the responsibility of the government to control violence in the country, he points out.
Shearer pledges that UNMISS is willing to support health and maintain sustainability and will double the number of troops in Yambio in the coming months.
He says UNMISS troops will be moving along roads to maintain security in the area.
