Speaking in Simple Arabic Edward Okot advises the communities to put more efforts on farming to reduce hunger in the country, Radio Emmanuel reports.
He appeals to the public to make proper use of seeds distributed, which he believes if well planted will improve food security in the country.
The Country Director warns local population against over consumption of alcohol because it causes laziness.
He adds that communities end up hungry because of selling the little food just for alcohol consumption.
Director Okot discloses that his organization is committed to support communities with food and non food items.
Anthony Taban, a resident of Ibalany, appeals to the humanitarian organizations to supply seeds to communities ahead of cultivation season.
He says giving seeds late affects their germination period.
