A number of concerned parents in Imotong State tell learners to wear uniforms according to school rules and regulations.

They say many girls cut their skirts short and boys reduce the bottom of their trousers to become bottle neck as designs, Radio Emmanuel reports.

A parent who only identified himself as Peter from Hai Moruari blames fellow mothers and fathers for not following their children.

Another parent, Dominic Otwari from Imurok, says some learners reduce their uniforms due to peer influence and availability of money.

Ochen Michael says a parent is to blame when his or her child misuses the school uniform.

Many parents say they are the first witnesses of improper use of school uniform because a child leaves home before crossing over to the school administration.

The parents made the remarks during the Good Morning Eastern Equatoria Program on Radio Emmanuel on Thursday
