Inter-communal conflicts have affected school girls’ money program in some states of Lakes, says Windle Trust International Monitoring and Evaluation Officer.

Boryiaak Isaac Mayen says a big number of learners are displaced and some schools in Gok State are closed down, Radio Good News reports.

He notes that the conflicts hinder them to know girls’ new locations.

Isaac advises communities to keep fighting away from institutions of learning.

He says learners and teachers who are in schools that are not nearer to their clans are also faced by issues of revenge killing, forcing them to drop out from schools.

The officer reveals that Windle Trust is also planning to add primary four pupils to the program in 2019.

He was speaking to Radio Good News on Thursday during the commemoration of World Child Day in Rumbek.
