Some state governors have confirmed their participation in the forthcoming Yambio Governors’ Forum next week.
Maridi State Information Minister, Peter Saki, says either Africano Mande or his deputy will head the delegation to the forum, Radio Anisa reports.
John Abote Amadi State Information Minister, says their Governor Joseph Ngere Paciko confirmed his presence personally to work tirelessly for durable peace.
Tombura State Information Minister, John Sakpio, says Governor Patrick Raphael Zamoi will not attend the forum.
He did not explain why their Governor will not participate in the peace forum next week in Yambio.
On Wednesday last week, Badagbu Daniel Rimbasa Governor of Gbudue State, urged citizens to welcome nine governors coming to Yambio for the peace forum.
Some citizens and traders in Yambio opened market appreciate the initiative and call on the governors to work hard to bring lasting peace to the country.
Governors expected to participate in the forum are from, Yei, Gbudue Amadi, Maridi, Western Lakes, Gok, Tonj and Wau States.
