The number of women turning up for registration is competing with the number of men in Yei County.
Sarah Natalina, who heads the County’s Women Association, told Easter Radio that in the first day of the registration the women did not appear at the referendum centres but then they turned up in great numbers and now they are as many as men.Ms. Natalina urged women to turn up for registration because the future of this nation belongs to them since they are the majority.
Ms. Natalina urged women, youths and elderly to register and vote in the upcoming referendum.
She praised women for their positive respond towards the referendum process.
