Justice and Peace Commission of the Catholic Diocese of Rumbek on Monday began five-day training of thirty youth on leadership, conflict mitigation and peace management.

Radio Good News reports that the young people are drawn from different parishes and schools.

Justice and Peace Coordinator, Abraham Malual Wantok, says the training brought together 22 male and eight female participants from Cuiebet, Awerial and Rumbek.

He says representatives from Warrap and Tonj parishes did not turn up due to poor roads and insecurity.

The Coordinator urges authorities of the State Ministry of Education to cooperate with the trainees who will form justice and peace clubs in schools.

The five-day training is expected to end on Friday evening.
