Police arrests two ladies in Torit trying to escape to Juba

Two ladies were apprehended in Magwi and returned to Torit as they were trying to escape to Juba, confirms Torit Municipality Chief Inspector of Police.
 
Jeremiah Fadiri Otoriang told Radio Emmanuel that the arrest of the ladies came when their parents were looking for them following their absence from home.
 
Investigation found that one lady claimed to have had the intension of seeing her aunt in Juba and later influenced a friend to follow her, he explains.
 
The Chief Inspector narrated that their administration informed all boarder police stations when their parents reported the case.
 
He reveals the police will not penalize the girls because they are still under the age of 18.
 
In a related development, a group of five girls were also arrested and detained in the police custody before their release on Tuesday afternoon.
 
The Chief Inspector says the other five girls arrested were found quarreling and fighting other groups in residential areas of Torit.
 
Fadiri calls on the young girls to abandon their wrong doings and focus on education for the betterment of their future.
