The Acting Governor of Tonj State has on Friday closed all the checkpoints in the area.
This came as a response to a presidential decree this week, ordering that all road blocks should be closed in the country, Don Bosco Radio reports.
Teresa Awien Dal Madut Dal says she has to implement the orders mandated to her.
Awien Dal directs all the organized forces who were working at the checkpoints to report back to their various institutions.
She confirms that the government is receiving a lot of complains from traders that they are highly taxed.
She expresses government’s commitment to handle any security issue in the state.
