The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees on Thursday distributed second hand clothes to the refugees and returnees in Tombura County.

Cantina Nzeme is a mother of eight; she expresses happiness for receiving the clothes, Anisa Radio reports.

Cantina says UNHCR has done great work at this crucial time.

She urges those who have not yet received to be patient.

Mr Osobia Francis is the UNHCR Senior Protection Associate in Greater Western Equatoria. He says the second hand clothes are meant only for the refugees and returnees.

He says each person received four pieces of clothes.

Francis believes WFP will come to the area to distribute food to them.

The distribution was only for one day and they will go back to Yambio to plan for other areas.
