SPLA commander confirm three killed during night attack patrol in Torit

Senior SPLA commander in charge of greater Eastern Equatoria state says three people died in a shooting attack on joint patrol team by unknown armed group on Wednesday.
 
Those who are confirmed to have lost their lives include two SPLA soldiers and one other from the unknown armed group.
 
According to Gen. Gildo Oling Baranya , the senior SPLA commander, says unknown armed men laid an ambush on the joint patrol team on duty.
 
General Oling is calling on citizens of Torit town to remain calm, advising the local population to give chance to the security organs to patrol in the town and trace the attackers.
 
Oling says his administration has met the mayor of Torit municipality to discuss on ways of addressing criminal activities in the state to foster free movement of the citizens.
