An activist on Monday passes cross-cutting messages to South Sudanese about what they can do to stop any form of violence and durable peace in the country.

Edmon Yakani Executive Director of Community Empowerment for Progress Organization, appeals to the citizens, government officials and armed oppositions
that national dialogue should not be restricted to allow everyone to be free to express and air out their grievances, Radio Anisa reports.

He hoped the national dialogue to succeed and the government not to be a risk to the citizens neither the citizens to be risk to the government.

He warns the youth in Gbudue and South Sudan not to be influenced by politicians who are eager for power or political position.

The armed youth in Gbudue State should stop turning against their own citizens by killing them for no reason, he stresses.

Political division is too much in Juba between politicians and rumors continues to spread over the tension between government forces and former SPLA General Chief of Staff Forces, he adds.

Yakani appeals to the government to come in public and tell people what is happening on the rumors being spread in the country.

Radio Anisa couldn’t reach the concerned authorities in Juba to get a comment on this.
