A chief of Fongo Nuer area of Besselia County of Wau state was found dead on Sunday morning, Wau state officials say.
Anthony Charles Nbrende state security advisor confirmed that the incident took place when the late Matteo Nguba Abo, led a group of nearly 20 people heading to Khorghana area. Radio Voice of Hope reports.
The advisor condemned the incident and said that the suspects must be arrested and faces the law.
The security forces are now looking for the suspects, he adds.
Nberende called on citizens to inform the security for any outgoing or incoming movement so they can be provided with security.
