A Medical Doctor in Tonj Civil Hospital says lives of pregnant mothers are their major concern in the state.
Radio Don Bosco quoted Dr Mathiang Agany disclosing that many pregnant mothers deliver safely in the maternity ward.
He mentions that about 64 mothers give birth a month in the hospital and all of them are safe excluding one mother who lost her baby during delivery.
The doctor encourages mothers to visit the health facilities because the medical personnel are always available to help them.
Nyankiir Kuol appreciates the midwives of Tonj Civil Hospital for their commitment in helping the pregnant mothers to deliver without any complications.
She encourages her colleagues to come to the clinic for safe delivery.
Midwife in the maternity ward, Suzanna Mario, says more than 80 women had delivered in a health facility without complication.
