The International Committee of the Red Cross is assessing the agricultural field for cultivation to support prisoners with different types of food in Tonj State.
Geroge Gabriel Gilo, Tonj State Prison Director, says ICRC has made the proposal to support the jail with agricultural tools to help inmates cultivate some vegetables, Radio Don Bosco reports.
Gabriel appreciates the assistant given by the ICRC to inmates in Tonj.
He says the prison also was facing the problem of the hygiene and sanitation but now it has been resolved.
The leader advises the general public to avoid involving themselves in criminal activities so they are not drag to prison.
