The Deputy headmaster of Ayigak Primary School in Tonj State complains that the school is running out of scholastic materials since August this year.
Peter Mapuk says NGOs which would assess the situation to provide assistance cannot reach the school, Radio Don Bosco reports.
He adds that the school has short of blackboards, Chalks and pupils receive lessons under trees.
Mapuk calls on the government to look into the problems facing the school before the end of the year, to give hope to learners in the next academic year.
Teresa Awien Maker, one of the pupils raises the concern of teachers’ salary as another issue affecting government schools because they have not been paid for months.
Tong Ater, Ex-executive Chief of Manyang-Ngok County encourages the learners not to lose hope but to be patient as government works to rescue the situation.
Manyang-Ngok County is thirty six miles away from Tonj Town.
