Commissioner of Baggari County in Wau says opening of the blocked roads are very important to citizens because they can help them bring their products to markets.
Taban John Guu complained to Wau Governor Angelo Taban Biajo that people are very anxious about the roads leading to their villages, Radio Voice of Hope reports.
The commissioner confirms that the people of Baggari were supplying the state with food before their road was closed down.
Governor Angel Taban says currently the roads are opened and the government is going to deploy joint forces on the main roads to monitor the movement of the people for their safety.
The governor admits bad behaviors of soldiers and that the acts were individual-making because the combatants forgot military conducts.
Biajo urges the soldiers at their operations fields not to attack civilians, but protect and defend them.
