The minister of humanitarian affairs and disaster management in Imotong state is calling for calm to the flood victims in Torit Morwari residential area.
Mubarak Ruben Emmy says he is deeply shocked upon hearing over the media about the suffering of Morwari residence which he says has caught the attention of the government. Radio Emmanuel reports.
Speaking in Arabic, Ruben says, he will use his position as a minister to lobby for support to help flood victims in Morwari area.
Minister Ruben says the victims should not worry as the government will met the non government organizations operating in the state to respond to the needs of those affected.
He tells citizens to be patient as the government stands in solidarity with its people
The minister however did not tell when the victims will get helped.
