More than ten farmers in Torit are been trained on usage of Ox plough skills and management.
Julius Nama a consultant for NIRAS and a trainer says, the training aims at educating farmers on skills of using and managing agricultural tools and equipment. Radio Emmanuel reports.
Nama adds that the training is in respond to the distribution of ox plough, aimed at increasing agricultural production among farming community in Torit.
Martin Angu is a farmer from Katire, he says the training has increase agricultural skills which he believes will foster agricultural productivity.
He believes when there is enough food hunger will no longer exist.
Farmers say they hope using Ox will make them produce more food for their families and the market.
