The Chief of Namaiku Buma in Gbudue State, is warning young people against playing cards and other games for money, because it promotes theft cases in the community.
Ramadan John says, some youth who do play cards have been arrested of suspected theft case.
And were handed over to the reliable authorities in Nzara County,Radio Anisa reports.
He accuses young people of stealing money from their family members to use it for playing cards, because many people in the area have been complaining of their money being stolen in their houses.
He warns that any person seen playing game for money must face the law.
Some of youth say they play cards and other games to survive on and feed their family members.
Samuel Peter, a citizen from Nzara County urges fellow youth to stop wasting time on doing nothing but, to listen to the advice their parents give them.
He says youth should work hard to achieve their needs but not to be lazy citizens.
