The Authorities of Maridi State is calling on the Catholic Bishop of Tombura-Yambio to visit their State as an official Bishop and shepherd of the area.
Jane Pia Michael who headed a delegation of Maridi State government to the priesthood ordination in Ibba County on Sunday delivered the Message from the state governor, Africano Mande requesting the Bishop to a visit to Maridi State. Anisa Radio reports.
She says the presence of Bishop Hiiboro in Maridi will give more weight to their government and the people of the area.
Barani Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala Bishop of Tombura-Yambio Catholic Diocese promised to pay an official visit to Maridi soon, but no date was fix.
He ordained two priests at St. Charles Lwanga on Sunday and concluded his visit on Monday.
