Health officials at Tonj civil hospital are advising local community to prevent their children from playing in stagnant water because they can easily contact diseases.
Clement Thokriel Peter says that, mosquitoes breed in stagnant water and spread diseases like Malaria. Don Bosco Radio reports.
Thokriel advises people to boil water before drinking if there is no safe drinking water. Other diseases like Typhoid also spread when we drink contaminated water, he adds.
When we are healthy it is easy to work, Thokriel explains.
Peter appeals to the community to prevent their children from entering into unclean water so as to reduce sicknesses.
