FAO graduates over 20 community animal health workers in Rumbek

Food and Agricultural Organization, FAO and State Ministry of Animal Resources and Fisheries with other partners on Monday graduated twenty four Community Animal Health Workers in Rumbek.
 
The health workers were given certificates after seven days refresher training on how to identify, control and prevent livestock diseases, Good News Radio reports.
 
FAO Project Manager, Louis Bagare says the participants came from former Rumbek East, Rumbek North and Cuibet.
 
Mr Bagare appeals to the graduates to use the knowledge and skills gained for effective disease control.
 
Gabriel Makuac Aggrey, Director General in the Ministry of Animal Resources and Fisheries urges health workers to refrain from tribal conflicts and concentrate on their work.
