Citizens in Tonj state continue to reject one South Sudanese pound note saying it buys nothing

Machar Ater, Chairperson of Malith market on Wednesday urges the communities not to reject the accumulated South Sudanese pound. Don Bosco Radio reports.
Ater says people refuse one pound because there is nothing that one can buy from the market.
By refusing the one South Sudanese pound you are against the law of the country, he adds.
He blames the police force who he says, have failed to follow their duty.
He urges citizens to cooperate with local authorities and improve the economy of the country.
